The Improvisation Edge: Leadership & Adaptability |

| Ohio Dominican University (ODU) is excited to host author and entrepreneur Karen Hough as she presents “The Improvisation Edge: Leadership & Adaptability.” ODU’s Dominican Scholars Business program is sponsoring this free event, which will take place at 7:15 p.m., April 15, in the Bishop James A. Griffin Student Center, rooms 258, 259 and 260. The student center is located on the University’s main campus at 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, 43219. Hough will discuss secrets to improvisation you can use to improve leadership capabilities; little known-techniques to build trust for leaders, teams and organizations; and skills to improve communication and build better relationships.
Hough is the founder and CEO of ImprovEdge, a national consulting firm based in Powell, Ohio, that specializes in teaching improvisational techniques and skills to leaders and teams. ImprovEdge received the Silver Stevie International Award for Most Innovative Company of the Year 2012 and the Athena PowerLink Award for outstanding woman-owned business in 2009.
Hough is the author of “The Improvisation Edge: Secrets to Building Trust and Radical Collaboration at Work,” a No. 1 best-seller on Amazon and Top 25 Business Book on 800-CEO-READ. She also is the author of “Be the Best Bad Presenter Ever: Break the Rules, Make Mistakes & Win Them Over.” She is a contributor to The Huffington Post and Inc.com. Hough also is a former actor. She trained with Chicago’s Second City, participated in more than 100 theatrical productions and has been featured in radio, TV and film. |
