 | An integral part of many occasions at the Martin de Porres Center, members of the Bakhita Dance Ministry of St. Dominic Church have danced before the Lord, helping us celebrate major events, including our yearly program honoring Martin de Porres’ Feast Day. In this workshop, the Bakhita dancers will invite us into the dance - helping us incorporate body, mind, and spirit in prayer and thanksgiving. They will lead us in basic movements that can be done by anyone, regardless of age, gender, or physical ability. No dance experience necessary.
