Hi gang. This is the last cancellation. The funeral is Friday in Cleveland, then transporting her to Pittsburgh for Saturday morning burial, so I will be on duty for all of that.
Please turn in The listening journal and Research proposals Friday as usual. I won't be available Friday for questions, so ask me anything you need tonight, or just do your best. The proposals will involve a bit of back and forth anyways, so just submit what you have, according to the instructions.

1. What is the quarrel about between Oedipus and Creon (see pp. 125ff)? What does it tell us about the difference in the outlook of the two, especially with regard to leadership?
2. “Know thyself” indeed. This is a play about self-knowledge. . . .Oedipus’s growing self-knowledge!! How does Oedipus react to it, along the way and by the end?
