| Wehrle Exhibit: Nostalgia and Invisible Racism |

| Opening reception 5-7 p.m. in the Wehrle gallery. Twenty years after Ann Corley Silverman exhibited “The Journal Project” in the Wehrle Gallery, she is using the same pulped and shredded journals of her southern grandmother to create pages that support the handwritten text of Ralph Ellison’s “Invisible Man” in an examination of family history, southern history and racism. Exhibit turns Nov. 3 - Jan. 12, 2018 |

| 6 - 10 p.m., Ohio Theatre, Downtown Columbus. Meet at the Griff Information Desk at 6:15 p.m. Bus leaves at 6:30 p.m. Join ODU President Robert and Jen Gervasi and enjoy a performance by the world-renowned Columbus Symphony in the historic Ohio Theatre. A dessert reception will take place immediately prior to the performance. Admission and transportation free of charge to the first 50 ODU students who register at ohiodominican.edu/Symphony. |
