| Better Pay for Better Days Minimum Wage Petition & Tabling Event. We are looking to raise awareness about Senate Bill 1150 which advocates for an increase in minimum wage. We will have a information table set up as well as a petition to sign to eventually give to Ohio Senator Rob Portman. Griffin Student Center from 11:00 a.m. - 12:20 p..m. at the info table; or in Erskine Hall 1st floor lobby from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. |

Food for Fines |

| Throughout October you can pay off your library fines AND contribute to help those in need at the same time! Each year, the ODU Library participates in Campus Ministry's Canned Food Drive. Acceptable items include any size cans, glass containers or jars, packages such as pasta or sauces, or boxed items such as rice or cereal. Items that are not acceptable include perishable items or items marked Not Labeled for Retail Sale. For each can or package of non-perishable food item donated, you can take $1.00 off your total library fines (including OhioLINK fees). The total number donated may cover the total amount of your fines or any part of the total. We will accept items for donation if no fines are owed, but cannot apply that amount 'on credit' toward future fines. Seniors -- this is a great opportunity to pay off your fines before graduation! |
