DescriptionCommunity Colloquium: Message and Meaning in the American Landscape. Please join us in discussing the evolution of meaning in American landscape from the 19th century to today with Rod Bouc , landscape artist and Deputy Director of the Columbus Museum of Art and Ohio Dominican professors Ron Carstens, Professor and Program Chair of Political Science, Janette Knowles, Associate Professor and Program Chair of Art and Design, and Kelsey Squire, Assistant Professor of English. "Message and Meaning in American Landscape" is being held in conjunction with the exhibition "Canyon Passages: Work by David Thomas," on view through December 7 in Ohio Dominican’s Wehrle Gallery. 12 noon - 4 p.m. in the Griffin Student Center, Rooms 260-261 These special programs have been made possible by a grant from the R. W. Carstens Endowment for the Humanities.
